What plants can live with only fluourescent light?
most plants do well as flourescent light covers a broad spectrum of energy. the bulbs need to be replaced every year because they lose that energy even though they still emit light,.
Reply:I worked in an office that had a very small window and only florescent lighting. I had a Hibiscus plant and it did very well in the room. Bloomed all the time. My African Violet did great as well. A cactus might be a good choice. I had a friend that had orchids in her office that were amazing. Go to a local flourist and tell them your situation and they'll tell you what plant to purchase and give you helpful tips etc. Some plants can be toxic if grown in confined places. So you want to choose the right plant. I posted a link below. Hope this helps.
Reply:AQUATIC PLANTS USUALLY DO WELL UNDER FLUORESCENT LIGHTING.
