What are some plants that I can grow from common veggies or fruit?

I already know about using the tops of pineapples and growing an avocado plant from the pit. What are some other fairly easy plants to grow?

great question! I've always wondered this myself but here's the website I found. They mention tomatoes, cucumbers, and ground cherries and give you a process of how to do it. I'm pretty sure you could do it with almost anything but stay away from things that come off of trees (lemons, oranges, apples) because that would take too long :) good luck

Reply:I've done grapefruit, lemons, oranges. Not hybids, because most hybrids won't produce the same plant as the original one.
