I want to put live plants into my aquarium with my goldfishes. What would you recommend?

I dont care if they eat it as long as its safe for them. And note this LIVE plants not the fake plastics.

I want to put live plants into my aquarium with my goldfishes. What would you recommend?
Anubias, Sagittaria, Swords, Java Fern, anacharis, cardamine, Moneywort are some commonly found freshwater aquarium plants. All are safe for goldfish. What the goldfish don't eat, they may uproot. I prefer live plants, too. Part of my routine tank maintenance includes trimming leaves and replanting uprooted plants. I don't mind the "hassle", in fact, I'm kind of amused by the uprooted plants. You'll soon learn where you're "allowed" to put plants and which plants are "edible" and which are permitted to grow.

Hope this helps %26amp; Good Luck
Reply:java fern, hair grass or the good ol' banana plant

Reply:You need to get plants that can survive in cooler water. Your local fish store will probably have some, but one that also sells pond fish and supplies would probably have a larger selection.
Reply:if the plantes are those alive ones then you dont think its will stay forever inside the fish tank . cause some plants arent good for fishes to eat.
Reply:Java ferns, Java moss, Anubias, Milfoil, or Eel Grass to name a few.
Reply:goldfish will eat any kind of live plant that u will put in their tank
Reply:go to a petstore and by one
