What are the best plants for indoor air cleaning and are low maintenance?

Looking for plants that are easy to manage and maintain, inexpensive to buy and will help clean indoor air, its still cold these days that I cannot really open the windows to air out the house.

What are the best plants for indoor air cleaning and are low maintenance?
i don't know exactly what they are called but they are called something like air plants. you don't water them. they take moisture from the air. i have one of them. they are small and inexpensive.

hope that helped. good luck!
Reply:There is a plant called "air fern" they need practically no maintenance, however any live healthy plant is workable for what you want.I just think every room in the house is a room for a plant, just put it were it gets its needs met and you'll be fine with whatever you choose, there is no right or wrong house plant.
Reply:The best type of plant to clean the air is called "Peace Lily""" and it's not too expensive. The maintenance isn't too bad. Go onto some plant websites and it will tell you the best ones to help clean the indoor air.

I really don't believe the air fern does that, it just grows without soil and you only need to mist it.
