What are the best plants to buy for my office?

I want to add some plants in my office but since i dont get any sunlight in, I am not sure what type I should buy. Plus I don't want something that takes a lot of work to take care of, a little water and that it.

What are the best plants to buy for my office?
Philodendron. Those are the common green vines with heart shaped leaves. They are very hardy, thrive under flourescent light, can even live in just water with no dirt if you want, Pothos is another plant that does well in an office environment. You can try other plants to, and just have them under a gro-light.
Reply:devils ivy, creeping charlie ivy, aspargus fern, spider plant, wandering jew,
Reply:get a cactus.
Reply:I'm in a similar office and have killed plenty of plants. I found that the best plants are ones that constantly have water...like bamboo.

Also, because they don't get much light you need plant food to keep them going. Miracle grow or that sort.
Reply:Most all plants prefer a filtered South window; as you have to determine your office lighting first. Second; leaf color will tell you the lighting the plant needs-light leaf or bright leaf needs bright light, and dark leaf needs low light. After considering the plant needs decide what you like best , and allow plant to dry between waterings.
Reply:Get a peace lily
Reply:Mary Jane plants make a nice addition to your office and your pocket
Reply:Your first choice should be African Violets. They do well anywhere and are so easy to grow and maintain.
Reply:a bamboo plant. It is supposed to bring good luck and it is perfect for the office. All it needs is water and it looks nice.
