I am very upset that they are not required to visibly display which plants are toxic. I purchased ALOT of plants about 2 yrs ago, and now have dogs and nearly all the plants I purchased are toxic. Why don't they have to display a sign or something? Some of these plants can be fatal if enough is ingested !
Why don't the stores with nurseries have to display which plants are TOXIC to humans %26amp; animals?
I agree. . . there should be more info period on every nursery label :)
Reply:You are right... a lot of things are toxic if enough of them is ingested.
They are not required to say anything about plants toxicity because they are not selling them as food. They were never intended for you or your pet to eat.
Reply:I'd be happy if they would just put proper names on the plants, then you could look up all the info you needed which you can't do when they don't have the names accurate.
Reply:A very good question. I should take it up with your local store, and with your local agricultural agency.
Reply:Considering how many things have warning labels today this question seems to me to say something like: Why doesn't anyone who has anything for sale just think for me?
