Can you recommend some aqaurium plants for my fish tank?

I'm horrible with plant names, but I do have some in my tank already and they are tall. Can you recommend some "short" real plants to add to my tank? I'd like something smaller that will grow on the gravel.

You could purchase foreground plants, such as HC,micro sword, and Glosso. But these plants need more attention than the regular low light plants.

2 watts per gallon and Fertilizers and CO2.

Reply:Check out this plant website. It seperates the plants in to tons of categories, including which part of the tank they go in.

click on the "aquascaping placement" button, then you can look at the "foreground" plants for the short guys.

I do know that some plants often seen in gorgeous photos of planted tanks are kept short by regular pruning, and don't stay that way on their own. I'm not sure which those were, though :P

Good luck :)
Reply:It depends on your defintion of short. Anubius are a good choice for easy keepers and stay relativly short. Java ferns are also good easy keeps they get taller that the anubisu but are still relativly short.
