Does it matter if you water your plants with hot or cold water?

In other parts of the world is the temperature relevant, of course, to the climate and environment of plant life to the region? Or is water just water to plants?

Does it matter if you water your plants with hot or cold water?
Do not water with hot or cold water as you do not want to "shock" the roots. The water temperature should be between 62 and 72 °F. Also, it's a good idea not to use softened water to water plants. You can use collected rainwater or distilled because sodium and chloride will also be added to the soil mix, possibly causing plant damage.
Reply:not too cold, not boiling hot!!

as someone said earlier, you don't want to shock the plants which may result in death...
Reply:Some use WARM water to get their plants started a little earlier.
Reply:How hot, how cold?
