Are there any plants that would cope with a full sun hot sun setting all winter, but could be removed and stored in a cold basement all winter? Ideally they would be small enough that they could be contained in plastic pots that could be sunk in the ground during summer.
Plants that can be put in the basement in winter for planting out next spring.?
Most bulbs and cactuses will do fine
