Where in bean plants would you expect to find cells that are specially adapted to make food?

Choose one:

Trunk,

leaves,

roots, or

seeds.

and Why?

Okay so obviously, I know nothing about plants.

So a little help would be nice =]

Thanks.

Leaves. Plants synthesize "food" using energy from sunlight. I would expect the "food" to be synthesized in the cells that are in the "organs" that are specially adapted to present a large surface to the sunlight.
Reply:Cells that contain chlorophyll can use light to make sugar, there food. These cells are mostly in leaves.
