Hello. Generally we have to look at type of plant. Some tropical plants are used to water sprayed on them, using a little handspray bottle.Others will appreciate a drop of water, just to damp them. The best water by far, is distilled water. I use water from my dehumidifier, but rain water that is pure would be better. We do have a tendency to over-water house plants.Use liquid fertiliser, only if neccessary. Good Luck!
Reply:most plants do not do well with heavily chlorinated water.

i filter what i use for drinking and cooking so the plants

get the same.
Reply:Not really. I WOULD suggest you use Miracle Gro with your watering. Plants LOVE that stuff!
