I love plants but my room doesn't get a lot of sun. What plants will survive the lack of sun in my room? I also have a tendency to water plants once a week at most, so try to keep that in mind.
Which plants can I keep in my room?
Lucky Bamboo grows in water or in a pot of soil and can survive in rooms that hardly get sunshine. It is actually a Dracaena plant, not a bamboo plant. If you get those that are in water with decorative rocks, you need only to water when the water is just about to run out.
Reply:A spider plant and/or a philodendrum come to mind. Both hearty to withstand a number of differing conditions. In fact, people have the spider plant because it helps to keep the air clean. You can water when the soil is DRY but don't neglect; we all need a drink occasionally! And the fun with spider plants is that you can watch them grow "babies", little spider plants right from the mother! There's a way to transplant them, too! Have fun.
