How do you keep house plants alive?

My house plants constantly turn yellow, dry up, and die. Please help me out I've tried everything! The only plant I've managed to keep alive is bamboo.

How do you keep house plants alive?
Sounds to me that you need simple plants that are tolerant of low light. Try cast-iron plant, spotted dumb cane, corn plant, heart leaf philodendron, peace lily and/or wax plant. These grow fairly easy with very little care. I don't water mine until they are fairly dry and they do just fine. Every once in awhile, I feed them tea that has been diluted with lots of water and I've even had my corn plant bloom! Good luck!
Reply:Hmmmm.... it's called watering them...?

But if you are watering at least once a week and see no obvious signs of insect infestation, check out some of these factors:

1. Too much direct sunlight?

2. Too much dry heat, if you keep forced air heat turned up high?

3. Bad potting soil, mildewed or infected with a fungus or completely leached of nutrients... try repotting.

4. Too much dust accumulating on leaves... do you dust or rinse them off from time to time?

Good luck.
Reply:IF THEY ARE DRYING UP . I WOULD SAY WATER THEM
Reply:I would say move it from place to place every week and where you see it getting healthier, it likes its place.
